Who is Mentor Marketplace for?

Mentor Marketplace is for Business School students only.

What is the cost, and how will I be charged/ invoiced for mentoring sessions?

Each mentoring session is $600 AUD, (plus GST for Australian residents).

At the completion of your mentoring session, your credit card will be charged using the stored details that you use to pay for Business School. An invoice receipt will then be emailed to you for accounting purposes.

How long are mentoring sessions? 

Each session is 60 minutes in duration

What happens if I, the student, cancel a mentoring session?

  • If you provide more than 48 hours notice for a cancellation, there will be no charge. Please follow the prompts in your booking confirmation email to cancel or reschedule your booking.
  • If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, 50% of the fee will be charged. please contact Sarah Emmerson and the mentor to notify us of a late cancellation.

What if the mentor cancels a session?

The mentor will contact you to arrange another time, alternatively you can opt to select another mentor here.

How can I sync bookings with my calendar?

For students, you will receive a confirmation email which includes an option to add to your calendar.

For mentors, please touch base with Sarah Emmerson to set up calendar syncing. 

Is there a limit to how many I can book or how far in advance? 

Sessions are available 30 days in advance, and there is no limit to the number of sessions you can book. 

How do I look at all mentors available on the Marketplace?

You can view all mentors here.

The mentor I want isn't available for the session type I'm after, how do I book by session type to view available mentors?

Not all mentors are available for all sessions, this is based on their experience and preferences. You can book by session type here.

Can I send an overview of what I want to focus on before the session?

Absolutely, when you book there will be a set of questions specific to your session, along with the ability to upload material to assist the mentor during your session.

Can I receive a recording of my session?

To protect your privacy, we will not record the sessions.

What platform will mentoring be conducted on?

When you confirm your booking, a confirmation email will include location details with the mentors Zoom room or Google meets link. 

Can I provide feedback for my mentor, and will it be anonymous?

Yes, we would love to hear your feedback, and we will provide this opportunity at the end of your session. Feedback will be open and transparent with the mentor to further their development and your outcomes.
